Some of the past winners that have closed since that inaugural Best of Louisville issue in 1986, including several (Hi-Five Doughnuts, Joy Luck and Patrick’s, to name three) that announced their closures this spring while we were working on this issue.

The voting academy also helped us identify even more places, many of them overlooked in past Best of Louisville issues, that they think need to be considered for next year. What would you add to the list?
