The Voting Academy Says

It’s the most beautiful building in Louisville.

When I walk into the lobby, I feel connected to another time.

Sometimes I find myself staring at the ceiling and walls instead of watching the performer.

At a show, I’m sure there are people there who disagree with me on many things, but we are able to shut that out and be present.

We asked the Palace to share something that says something essential about them…

The architect of the Palace, John Eberson, whose face is among those in the lobby ceiling. He designed the theater with a distinctive style reflected in its architecture: a midnight-blue ceiling adorned with twinkling stars, grottos and elegant imagery. His intent was to spark the imagination and provide an escape from reality, transporting visitors to wondrous places even before the movie began.”
