“The menu message mentions, in part, the Momma’s origin story, how ‘the winnings from a small ownership percentage of Breeders’ Cup champion Mucho Maco Man’ led to a food truck and mobile smoker. The menu also explains the 1 percent surcharge on all orders, matched by Momma’s, to be donated to six local charities: Special Olympics Kentucky, Dare to Care Food Bank, the Home of the Innocents, the Healing Place, Olmsted Parks Conservancy and the Sierra Club Greater Louisville Group. As of Jan. 1, 2025, the total raised and distributed is $808,308.”
